To be considered for this year's fair, your application must be postmarked by MARCH 30.
We hope you will consider submitting an application for the Olde Kinderhook Fair. We look forward to showcasing your talent and craft at the fair and to raising much needed funds for our community charities. If you have any questions, please contact Bill Laraway at (518) 229-9106 or .
Each year we jury by photo in order to give everyone the opportunity to participate. If you were not selected last year, please be aware that there was an overabundance of applications in certain categories and not all applicants were accepted. Vendor selection is made with the intent of keeping a balance of styles and categories of crafts. Photos of your craft/booth do not have to be professionally, taken, but need to show your work clearly.
All applications are juried at the same time. Applications must be postmarked by March 30th. Entries received after the deadline will be considered as space allows.
Please do not apply if you do not handcraft your items. Manufactured, imported, buy/sell or items “made by someone else” will not be judged.
The KBPA is not responsible for injury or damage at the fair.
Crafters are responsible for disposal of their own garbage.
We suggest crafters bring tarps or umbrellas for comfort or in case of rain. The Fair will be in the square in the center of Kinderhook, not behind the Vanderpoel House. The militia encampment is a State-wide meeting this year. We expect many visitors.
Each exhibitor must bring his/her own tables, chairs, and booth display.
A variety of motels and bed and breakfasts are located in the area for overnight accommodations.
Vendor spaces will not be assigned throughout the Village Square.
Vendor booths should be set up by 9:30 AM.
All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area by 10 AM.
Period clothing is always welcome.
Morning coffee and donuts are on the house that morning.
